Surveillance Law

Also, unique to Arizona, is concerning professional surveillance. GPS tracking or other electronic monitoring of someone can be viewed as stalking in violation of ARS §13-2923, unless you are a licensed private investigator. Before you attempt to track someone or surveil yourself, you should hire a private investigator skilled and experienced at following someone discreetly and ethically so that you avoid any legal troubles.

Adultery

Adultery in Arizona is a crime. The Arizona Revised Statutes reads about cheating spouses: ARS 13-1408 reads:

A. A married person who has sexual intercourse with another than his or her spouse, and an unmarried person who has sexual intercourse with a married person not his or her spouse, commits adultery and is guilty of a class 3 misdemeanor. When the act is committed between parties only one of whom is married, both shall be punished.

B. No prosecution for adultery shall be commenced except upon complaint of the husband or wife.
